Open Waters

The waters wash over me

Unknown of what is in their deep

Holding adventure

The sun beaconing for a chase

Until morning

The waters they roll deep

Beaconing the adventure in me

The dawn is breaking as the tide rolls in

Filling the tank

Catch me outside

Riding the wind and the waves

Laughing with friends

Thankful for the plans we made

We feast ‘till our stomachs are full

Watch the sun set

And take a dip

Hope its not to cool

Music that blasts

As we glide across the water

We smile, this is not pretend

Surrounded in company

This is not the end

But the threshold of many good stories.
