It is one of my greatest joys when I get to photograph my friends that I work with and I love a good reason to take some beautiful photos of them. Some of you may know that Molly Kate Skaggs is in the process of recording her first solo album! We dreamt into a photo shoot for her and loved taking photos of my wonderful friend Molly. One of my greatest joy has been learning everyday more about cooking and baking. Martha is a fabulous at both of these and loves to share her love for the kitchen and creating. I had the joy of taking photos of her teaching Haven how to bake in baking class, and for National Chocolate Cake day they made a delicious chocolate cake.
We are full of joy and embracing the first snow in Kansas City! And now my new favorite is photographing families in the snow! I am so excited about all these photos and i love having time with my family!
This is a group that I love dearly. After journeying with them all for 6 months, they asked if I would capture them to remember this season together. In the land of Sophia, NC we all have been changed. I love every year that I get the opportunity to capture this.
This is a special photo shoot because when scheduled to take these photos and little did we know that by the week baby Quill would come to join us in the world. She came four weeks early and is the sweetest little girl. I was able to capture the beauty of Erin and JD before they were able to hold Quill in their arms. You can see the joy that they carry and that they love to have a good time. There is also a photo where a flock of birds took off from the river behind them, which was a shock to all of us and so beautiful! I am so thankful to have been able capture this time for them.
I had so much fun photographing Ricky and Whitney in the downtown of Kansas City. They are such a fun and creative couple that is full of life and love.
